The City may be reimbursed approximately $431,250 from an estimated <br />$460,000 in losses. <br />Section 2. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby authorizes the <br />City Manager and the Director of Public Works to act as authorized agents of the City <br />for the purposes of applying for state and federal Disaster Recovery Public Assistance <br />Funding provided by the FEMA and by CALOES. <br />Section 3. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby authorizes the <br />City Manager and the Director of Public Works to execute such Disaster Recovery <br />Public Assistance funding application documents as may be required by FEMA and <br />CALOES, subject to non - substantive changes approved by the City Attorney. <br />Section 4. 'The City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby authorizes the City <br />Manager and the Director of Public Works to seek reimbursement for the costs and <br />losses incurred by the January 2017 storms and flooding in the City of Santa Ana. <br />Section 5. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption by <br />the City Council and the Clerk of the Council shall attest to and certify the vote adopting <br />this Resolution. <br />ADOPTED this — day of May, 2017, <br />Miguel A.
