PROJECT -BASED VOUCHER AWARDS FOR JAMBOREE HOUSING <br />CORPORATION AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PARTNERS <br />{STRATEGIC PLAN NO. 5, 3C} <br />Agencymember Solorio, commented on qualify housing project to benefit <br />homeless veterans. <br />Agencymember Sarmiento, noted that City has robust affordable housing <br />program; need to streamline entitled process. <br />Chair Pro Tern Martinez, supports streamlining affordable housing legislation. <br />Chair Pulido, opined that plan check process lengthy; should be expedited. <br />MOTION: <br />1. Approve an award of 75 project -based vouchers to Jamboree Housing <br />Corporation with Step Up on Second, Inc. as the service provider for a <br />project located at 3312 West list Street, Santa Ana, CA 92703 to create <br />75 permanent supportive housing units with wrap- around supportive <br />services for homeless veterans; <br />2. Authorize the Executive Director of the Housing Authority to execute <br />an Agreement to Enter into a Project -Based Vouchers Housing <br />Assistance Payments Contract between the Housing Authority of the <br />City of Santa Ana and Jamboree Housing Corporation with Step Up on <br />Second, Inc. as the service provider for a project located at 3312 West <br />list Street, Santa Ana, CA 92703 to create 75 permanent supportive <br />housing units for homeless veterans, subject to non- substantive <br />changes approved by the Executive Director and Agency Counsel; <br />3. Approve an award of 25 project -based vouchers to Community <br />Development Partners with Mercy Housing Living Centers as the <br />HOUSING AUTHORITY MINUTES 2 APRIL 4, 2017 <br />
