Resolution Authorizing Grant Application Submittal to the Urban Greening Program <br />June 6, 2017 <br />Page 2 <br />characterizing the main features of the Standard Avenue Protected Bike Lane Project, including <br />bike lane alignment is provided in Exhibit 3. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN ALIGNMENT <br />Approval of this item supports the City's efforts to meet Goal #5 - Community Health, Livability, <br />Engagement & Sustainability, Objective #6 (focus projects and programs on improving the health <br />and wellness of all residents), Strategy B (incorporate the improvement of walking and biking <br />lanes as well as the development of a citywide bike master plan into the Circulation Element of <br />the City's General Plan). <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br />Pursuant to Section 15304(h) of the California Environmental Quality Act, this action is exempt <br />from further review as there is no potential for any environmental impact. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />At this time there is no fiscal impact associated with this Council action, The City is pursuing a <br />grant in the amount of $6,250,000 to implement the proposed Standard Avenue Protected Bike <br />Lanes Project.
