1 <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />authorized by WIOA are provided at the local level via the America's Job <br />Centers of California, as defined in Subparagraph 3.1 above, to individuals <br />in need of those services, including job seekers, dislocated workers, youth, <br />incumbent workers, new entrants to the workforce, veterans, persons with <br />disabilities and employers. <br />3.7 Santa Ana Workforce Development Board Case Manager (SA WDB CM): An <br />employee of the Santa Ana WORK Center, a division of the City of Santa Ana, <br />assigned to work with the Participant and WTW Staff throughout the Vocational <br />Training (VTR) and Work Experience (WEX) activities <br />3.8 Supportive Services: Payments provided to or on behalf of <br />Participants for child care, transportation, and/or ancillary expenses. <br />3.9 Unsubsidized Employment: Employment without government subsidy. <br />3.10 Vocational Assessment: An evaluation of employability and the need <br />for employment support services considering work history, employment skills, <br />knowledge and abilities, education, educational competency level, local labor <br />market conditions, physical limitations, or mental conditions. Vocational <br />Assessments are conducted through another COUNTY contracted service provider. <br />3.11 Welfare -To -Work (WTW): A mandated program under the CalWORKS Act <br />which requires non-exempt parents or caretakers in families receiving CalWORKs <br />assistance to meet work requirements by participating in WTW activities, with <br />a goal of unsubsidized employment leading to self-sufficiency. <br />3.12 WTW Activities: Allowable activities to which the Participant may <br />be assigned as specified in the WIC and CalWORKs WTW regulations and COUNTY <br />policies and procedures. <br />3.13 WTW Staff: ADMINISTRATOR's staff and other contracted staff with <br />the authority to refer Participants for services. <br />4.
