RESOLUTION 2017-025 <br />REVENUE FY 17-18 <br />ACCOUNT DEPARTMENT/MISCELLANEOUS FEE OR SERVICE UNIT FEES <br />SECTION IX PLANNING & BUILDING AGENCY <br />51601 VIOLATION/INVESTIGATION FEES 93.17 <br />51602 <br />51603 When any work for which a permit is required has been <br />51611 commenced without the authorization of such permit, an <br />51604 investigation may be required before a permit will be issued <br />51606 for such work. An investigation fee shall be assessed in an <br />amount sufficient to reimburse the City for costs actually <br />incurred by the City based on a rate of $93.17 per hour but <br />in no case less than $93.17 shall be collected. <br />51601 PENALTY FEES 234.08 <br />51602 <br />51603 In addition to the investigation fee and regular permit fee, a <br />51611 penalty in an amount equal to the amount of the total permit <br />51604 fee shall be required, but in no case less than $234.08. <br />51606 <br />51601 EXPEDITED COPY REQUEST <br />51605 APPROVAL FOR BUSINESS <br />CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY <br />Whenever a Business License Tax application requires <br />approval of a Business Certificate of Occupancy each <br />application shall be accompanied by the payment of a <br />nonrefundable application processing fee of $35.50 <br />and an inspection fee of $55.17 which shall be refunded if <br />an inspection proves to be unnecessary. <br />Per Hour 63.64 <br />Each 90.67 <br />51601 DEMOLITION PERMIT 93.16 <br />The fee for a permit to demolish a building or structure shall <br />be based upon the contract price but in no case less than the <br />minimum building permit fee of $93.16. <br />098001001- When a building is demolished, the owner shall provide the <br />24015 City with a cash or surety bond as described in Section 8-1768 <br />through 8-1771 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code. For the <br />purpose of lot cleanup and capping of the sewer lateral, the <br />value of the bond is to be established by the Building Official <br />but in no case shall the bond be less than $1,000.00 per <br />building. A single family dwelling and garage shall be <br />considered as one building for bonding purposes. <br />EN <br />
