The rental units will <br />be 100 percent affordable to provide permanent housing to chronically homeless residents <br />earning at or below 60 percent of the Area Median Income, with the exception of a single one - <br />bedroom property manager's unit for a minimum of 55 years. Supportive housing is housing with <br />no limit on the length of stay, is occupied by persons or families who were homeless when <br />approved for tenancy and is linked to onsite or offsite services that assist the resident in retaining <br />housing, improving their health status and maximizing their ability to live and work in the <br />community, as defined by § 50675.14 of the Health and Safety Code. <br />The project includes 12 studios and 45 one -bedroom units, office space for service providers; <br />community room, dining room, computer room, gym, laundry facilities and a leasing office.
