An answer is provided immediately <br />following. <br />Question - Page A1-2 notes that the contractor must have a C-20, C-7 and C-10 <br />license. My request is to modify this to require the contractor to have a C-20 and B <br />license with the ability to subcontract the C-10 and C-7 licenses. C-20, C-10 and C- <br />7 are completely separate trade skills and it is unreasonable to ask a mechanical <br />contractor or an electrical contractor to possess all 3. This also limits the "test of the <br />market" requirement by a public agency as only large companies will possess all of <br />these licenses. <br />Answer - Class B, C-20 or C-38 license would be acceptable to bid. <br />2. Question - With respect to the above referenced project, can you please inform <br />me if this Request for Proposals (RFP) is for Contractors only or will the project <br />delivery be Design/Build or Design/Bid/Build? <br />Answer — The RFP is for contractors only, with responsibility for providing <br />structural calculations and plans for the permit process <br />3. Question - Would you please let us know what is the start date and duration for <br />this job. <br />Answer — The start date is as soon as possible after contract award, permits are <br />issued, and structural design is complete as applicable.
