INSURANCE ON FILE <br />WORK MAY PROCEED <br />UNTIL INSURANCE EXPIRES <br />LERK OFCOUNCIL <br />DATE: <br />FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT FOR <br />INSTALLATION OF AUDIO-VISUAL EQUIPMENT <br />A-2017.131 <br />THIS FIRST AMENDMENT to the above -referenced agreement is entered into on June 20 , 2017, by <br />and between Western Audio Visual, a subchapter S corporation ("Consultant"), and the City of Santa <br />Ana, a charter city and municipal corporation organized and existing under the Constitution and laws of <br />the State of California ("City"). <br />RECITALS <br />A. The parties entered into Agreement #A-2016-156, dated June 21, 2016 ("Agreement"), by which <br />Consultant agreed to provide installation services of the audio-visual equipment to modernize two <br />(2) conference rooms located in the Ross Annex listed as Rooms 3004 and 4104. <br />B. The original term of the Agreement was from June 21, 2016 through June 20, 2017, and per Section <br />3 of the Agreement, may be extended for two successive two-year periods, upon a writing executed <br />by the City Manager and the City Attorney. <br />C. The parties wish to amend the Agreement to include an additional scope of services, include <br />additional funds for services to be performed by the Consultant; and increase the term of the <br />Agreement to complete the additional work. <br />The Parties therefore agree: <br />1. Section 1, Scope of Services, is amended to include the modernization and installation of audio- <br />visual equipment in the remaining conference rooms located in the Ross Annex and City Yard. A <br />scope of services for each remaining conference room shall be provided and approved by the City's <br />Public Works Agency prior to the commencement of the installation of the audio-visual equipment. <br />2. Section 2, Compensation, is amended to include an additional $50,000 for services to be performed <br />by the Consultant so that the total surn to be expended under the Agreement shall not exceed <br />$130,000. <br />3. Section 3, Term, is amended to extend the time period for this agreement for two (2) years from <br />June 21, 2017 to June 20, 2019. <br />4.
