Review 2016 Legislative Scorecard <br />Assistant to the City Manager Mark Lawrence reviewed the 2016 Legislative Scorecard <br />providing an update on legislative accomplishments for calendar year 2016. <br />7. Review Proposed 2017 Legislative Platform <br />Assistant to the City Manager Mark Lawrence presented the proposed 2017 Legislative <br />Platform for consideration. The Platform serves as the guiding document for legislative <br />efforts for calendar year 2017 and is aligned with State and Federal priorities. <br />8. Quarterly Federal Legislative Update from Holland & Knight — 2016 Year-end <br />and First Quarter 2017 <br />Leslie Pollner and Dan Maldonado highlighted some of the specific activities and <br />accomplishments made by Holland & Knight on behalf of the City. <br />9. Quarterly State Legislative Update from Townsend Public Affairs — 2016 Year- <br />end and First Quarter 2017 <br />Casey Elliot provided the Committee with a summary of the efforts undertaken by <br />Townsend Public Affairs on behalf of the City as well as highlights of upcoming state <br />issues as they relate to the City's priorities. <br />Legislative Council Committee Minutes <br />April 5, 2017, Page 2 <br />13A-13 <br />
