Central Ave. Santa Ana CA 92706 <br />Phone Number: <br />714-481-9601 <br />Email: <br />jennyrios@delhicenter.org <br />Website: <br />www.delhicenter.org <br />Brief Description of Project: <br />The Delhi Center Summer Arts Camp will provide challenging enrichment and cultural <br />art lessons for 60 to 100 participants ages 6-18 including classes in singing, acting and <br />improvisation, musical theater, hip hop, breakdance, popping, ballet, ballet folklorico, <br />and art and illustration. Participants will have several different activities to choose from <br />each week so that they are exposed to different art forms and artistic disciplines in order <br />to increase their awareness and appreciation of the arts. <br />The program will provide high-quality, personalized learning and instruction. Classes will <br />be divided into different age groups and/or skill levels to ensure success for all students. <br />The curriculum begins with foundational skills and progresses towards greater levels of <br />complexity, creativity, and achievement. Lesson plans include developing teamwork and <br />working with partners as well as independent practice. Students learn to follow <br />instructions and become more self-confident by having the opportunity to master skills <br />in a supportive environment. Program Leaders will assist instructors by supervising <br />participants during non -class hours and will manage the free lunch program. <br />
