The receptor locations are sbown in Figure 3.4-1. <br />3.4.2 THRESHOLDS OF SIGNIFICANCE RELATED TO AIR QUALITY <br />A project will normally have a significant impact related to air quality if it will result in: <br />• A violation of any ambient air quality standard. <br />• A significant contribution to an existing or projected air quality violation. <br />• Exposure of sensitive receptors to substantial pollutant concentrations. <br />The AQMD has established the following emissions thresholds for long term operations related <br />emissions: <br />• 550 pounds daily of CO <br />• 55 pounds daily of NO, <br />• 150 pounds daily of sulfur dioxide (SO2) <br />• 55 pounds daily of reactive organic gases (ROG) <br />• 150 pounds daily of PMto <br />The AQMD has established the following quarterly (and daily) thresholds for short term <br />construction related emissions: <br />F:IPROJ-ENMGrand eirlNew Text- GrandlSection 3 SplitlSection 3.4.doc Page 3.4-7 <br />
