Grand Avenue Widening Project Environmental Impact Report Executive Summary <br />quality and quantity of groundwater, or groundwater recharge; or the use of groundwater supplies <br />for public water uses. <br />Air Onali : The proposed Grand Avenue widening will not result in adverse impacts related to the <br />alteration of air movements, moisture, climate or temperature in the area; and objectionable odors. <br />Transportation: The proposed Grand Avenue widening will not result in adverse impacts related to <br />consistency with the City's standards for Major Arterials, the Americans with Disabilities Act <br />guidelines and adopted policies supporting alternative transportation; compatibility with adjacent <br />land uses; impacts during construction related to design hazards and emergency access; and rail, <br />waterborne or traffic services or facilities. <br />Biological Resources: The proposed Grand Avenue widening will not result in adverse impacts <br />related to endangered, threatened or rare species, locally designated species and natural <br />communities, wetland habitats, or wildlife dispersal or migration corridors. <br />Energy and Mineral Resources: The proposed Grand Avenue widening will not result in adverse <br />impacts related to adopted energy conservation plans or mineral resources. <br />Hazards: The proposed Grand Avenue widening will not result in adverse impacts related to <br />vehicles carrying hazardous substances; risks associated with explosions or release of hazardous <br />substances; emergency and evacuation plans; hazardous materials sites and other health hazards; <br />asbestos containing building materials; lead based paint and increased fire risk. <br />Public Services: The proposed widening of Grand Avenue will not result in adverse impacts related <br />to the demand for police and fire protection services and facilities; school facilities or school <br />attendance; road maintenance costs for the City, and transit services. <br />Utilities and Service Systems: The proposed Grand Avenue widening will not result in adverse <br />impacts related to existing electric, natural gas, telephone and cable communication lines, facilities <br />and services; local or regional water treatment and/or distribution facilities; sewage treatment <br />facilities; domestic water pipelines, sewer lines and stormwater collection facilities; and solid waste <br />disposal. <br />Aesthetics: The proposed Grand Avenue widening will not result in adverse impacts related to <br />scenic vistas, scenic highways, light and glare. <br />Cultural Resources: The proposed Grand Avenue widening will not result in adverse impacts related <br />to paleontological resources and unique ethnic cultural values. <br />Recreation: The proposed Grand Avenue widening will not result in adverse impacts related to <br />recreational facilities. <br />F.
