A-2027-146 <br />(.9 ; CAA ( a ) THIR17 AMU, NDMENT TO PL10 ESS1 3 AL SERVIICES AGREEMENT <br />3"d vt Ca,z-"'y-Ce'1)d v«:s WITH TOWNSEND PUBLIC AFFAIRS, INC, <br />THIS THIRD AMENDMENT to the above -referenced agreement is entered into on 2017, <br />by and between Townsend Public Affairs, Inc, ("Consultant") and the City of Santa Ana, a charter city and <br />municipal corporation organized and existing under the Constitution and laws of the State of California ("City"). <br />Recitals <br />A. The parties entered into Agreement #A-2014-192, effective July 1, 2014 ("Agreement'), by which <br />Consultant agreed to provide state legislative advocacy and liaison services to City. <br />B. The term of the Agreement was for an initial period of one year, from July 1, 2014 through July 1, 2015, <br />with two one-year options exercisable by the City. <br />C. The parties executed a First Amendment No. A-2014-192-01 to exercise the first option and extend the terns of <br />the Agreement for an additional one-year period, from July 1, 2015 through June 30, 2016. <br />D. The parties executed a Second Amendment No. A-2014-192-02 to exercise the second option and extend the <br />term of the Agreement for an additional one-year period, from July 1, 2016 through June 30, 2017, <br />E. The parties now wish to amend the Agreement to further adjust the term of the Agreement effective July 1, <br />2017. <br />The Parties therefore agree: <br />1. Section 3, Term, is amended to extend the term of the Agreement on a month-to-month basis beginning July <br />1, 2017, for a period of up to twelve months. <br />2. Except as modified by this Third Amendment, and all prior Amendments, all terms and conditions of the <br />Agreement shall remain in full force and effect. <br />IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this Third Amendment to the Agreement on the date <br />and year first written above. <br />AT'T'EST <br />MA.Fi�lA.
