APPROVE AN AGREEMENT FOR LANDSCAPE SERVICES IN CITY PARKS AND <br />FACILITIES FOR DISTRICT 1 AND 4, RESPECTIVELY {STRATEGIC PLAN NO. <br />6, 1B} - Parks, Recreation and Community Services Agency <br /> <br />RECOMMENDED ACTIONS: <br /> <br /> <br />1.Authorize the City Manager and Clerk of the Council to execute an agreement <br />with Midori Gardens to provide landscape maintenance services in District 1 in <br />an annual amount not-to-exceed $274,706 (to be prorated five months for the <br />first period), which includes a 10% contingency, for a term from September 1, <br />2017 through January 31, 2018, with three, one-year renewal options, subject to <br />non-substantive changes approved by the City Manager and City Attorney <br />(AGMT. No. 2017-XXX). <br /> <br /> <br />2.Authorize the City Manager and Clerk of the Council to execute an agreement <br />with Mariposa Landscape to provide landscape maintenance services in District <br />4 in an annual amount not-to-exceed $720,432 (to be prorated five months for the <br />first period), which includes a 10% contingency, for a term from September 1, <br />2017 through January 31, 2018, with three, one-year renewal options, subject to <br />non-substantive changes approved by the City Manager and City Attorney <br />(AGMT. APPROVE AN AMENDMENT FOR SECURITY SERVICES FOR VARIOUS CITY <br />EVENTS {STRATEGIC PLAN NO. 5, 5C} - Parks, Recreation and Community Services <br />Agency <br /> <br />RECOMMENDED ACTION: Authorize the City Manager and Clerk of the <br />Council to execute an amendment with Insure Protective Security by increasing the <br />amount not-to-exceed by $20,000, for the original term of March 21, 2017 to <br />December 31, 2017 and for each of the two, one-year renewal options for a total <br />amount not-to-exceed of $195,000 for the total contract period, subject to non- <br />substantive changes approved by the City Manager and City Attorney (AGMT.
