Upon request, the Contractor shall submit supplemental proposals for Additional Work not called for <br />under the Scope of Work of this Contract. The Contractor must obtain written approval prior to <br />commencing any Additional Work. <br />k. Adhere to all the requirements of the City's NPDES Permit while performing the work required for this <br />contract. <br />C. Flood Control Assistance <br />Under the direction of the City, the firm shall assist with flood control and flooding complaints during <br />storm events. Finn shall be capable of performing the following tasks; <br />a. Mobilize quickly and efficiently to flooded areas and/or historic problem areas under the direction of the <br />City. <br />b. Deploy all necessary personnel, equipment and materials to assist with flood control and flooding <br />complaints. The equipment deployed must have the ability to remove excess water from the public right <br />of way and dislodge stick material in storm drain infrastructure. <br />c. Open ARS Inserts and stone drain manhole covers to facilitate faster drainage of flooded areas. <br />d. Remove all trash and debris not limited to mud, vegetation, and garbage from ARS Inserts and storm <br />drain facilities to facilitate faster drainage of flooded areas. <br />e. Provide catch basin ID numbers and photos of the flooded storm drain infrastructure that was responded <br />to within 7days of City's request. <br />f Adhere to all the requirements of the City's NPDES Permit while performing the work required for this <br />contract. <br />D. Other Requirements <br />The City of Santa Ana's Sample Agreement is included herein as ATTACHMENT 2. The agreement term will <br />be based on expenditure of funds. <br />The City desires to enter into agreements with up to three (3) selectod firms for an initial two (2) year term with <br />a City option for two one-year extension for a not to exceed amount of $250,000 per year for each film. <br />After awarding the agreements, the City will use a Task -Order system to ensure tasks are equitability allocated <br />to all contractors. Initially, the top three qualified firms will prepare a scope of work and fee for the first task <br />order. Proposals will be evaluated for value, the qualifications of the staff assigned, and the completeness of <br />scope. Once a firm is assigned to a task, that firm will be moved to the bottom of the list to await potential <br />future assignments.
