Research existing County and City records for survey monuments within the project <br />area. <br />B. Prior to Any clearing, removal, or excavation efforts, perform a diligent search for <br />property, line monuments, street centerline monuments, and benchmarks within the <br />project area, recording their identities and.preeise locations in reference to monuments or <br />witness monuments that will not be disturbed during construction, The records or these <br />monuments and references shall conform to Section 8771 of tiie Business and <br />Professions Code, of the.Stato of California. After completion of the construction, any <br />monument disturbed or removed during construction shall be reset; conforming to <br />Section 8771, Each centerline intersection shall be drawn on a single. Corner Record <br />showing local tie points and tie distances. A pdf copy of the .final receded Corner <br />Record shall be submitted to the City, <br />C. Provide construction staking:for project improvements. Records of the line and grade <br />stakes (cut sheets) shall be on forms provided by the City, and the originals shall become <br />the property of the City upon completion of each survey request, Tile City will provide <br />digital construction plans and specifications for _each project. <br />D. Set line and grade stakes in accordance .with the plans and specifications. Notify the City <br />immediately of any discrepancies or design errors discoveredou the plans during staking <br />or when verifying the line and grade of existing improvements ntjoin points, <br />Page <br />
