This report covers the period
of January through June 2017.
Pursuant to Council policy, the City Council may remove board or commission members who
incur four (4) unexcused absences within the six-month reporting period. Also, Charter Section
901(c) provides that a member of a board or commission who absents him/herself from two (2)
regular meetings of such board or commission, consecutively, unless by permission of such
board or commission expressed in its official minutes, or fails to attend at least one-half ('/2) of
the regular meetings of such board or commission within a calendar year, the office shall
become vacant and shall be so declared by the City Council.
Examination of the attendance report reveals that no current members have exceeded the limits
for permitted absences. Therefore, the only action required is to receive and file the report.
STRATEGIC PLAN
Approval of this matter allows us to meet Goal #5.
