(3) Bin Service shall mean all Solid Waste collection services provided by <br />CONTRACTOR by means of front -loaded collection bins of various sizes. <br />(4) California Integrated Waste Management Act ("CIWMA") shall mean that act <br />codified by California Public Resources Code Sections 40000 et seq., and any subsequent <br />amendments thereto. <br />(5) California Integrated Waste Management Board shall mean the Board created by <br />the California Integrated Waste Management Act, and any subsequent modifications thereto, and <br />shall encompass any other agency which assumes the duties of this Board. <br />(6) CITY shall mean the City of Santa Ana. <br />(7) City Attorney shall mean the City Attorney of CITY. <br />(8) City Council shall mean the City Council of CITY. <br />(9) City Manager shall mean the City Manager of CITY. <br />(10) Clerk of the Council shall mean the Clerk of the Council of CITY. <br />(11) Code shall mean the Municipal Code of CITY, both codified and miscellaneous <br />ordinances. <br />(12) Commercial/Industrial Bin Service shall mean Bin Service which is provided by <br />CONTRACTOR to commercial and/or industrial units. <br />(13) Commercial Solid Wastes shall mean Solid Waste originating from stores, <br />business offices, commercial warehouses, hospitals, educational, health care, military and <br />correctional institutions, non-profit research organizations and government offices. <br />(14) Compost means the product resulting from the controlled biological <br />decomposition of 3 organic wastes that are source separated from the Solid Waste stream. <br />(15) Com osting means a method of waste treatment which produces a product <br />meeting the definition of "compost' herein. <br />(16) Composting Facility means a state permitted Solid Waste facility at which <br />composting is conducted and which produces a product meeting the definition of compost. <br />(17) Construction and Demolition Solid Waste includes Solid Wastes, such as building <br />materials, and packaging and rubble resulting from construction, remodeling, repair and <br />demolition operations on streets, pavements, houses, commercial buildings, and other structures. <br />(18) Contract shall mean this Agreement, entered into between CITY and <br />CONTRACTOR. <br />(19) CONTRACTOR shall mean USA Waste of California Inc., a California <br />corporation, and shall also include the parent company Waste Management, Inc. <br />
