Exhibit B - Consultant Agreement <br />with Serrano Animal and Bird Hospital <br />FEE PROPOSAL <br />The following fee proposal includes all costs, both direct and indirect, including office <br />staff, phones, vehicles, mileage and hospitalization/care expenses at Serrano Animal <br />and Bird Hospital. Predicting anticipated future fee increases are based on collection <br />growth, cost of living increases, and complexity of zoo function and management. <br />These variables are difficult, at best, to predict with a single monetary value, and can <br />range from 3-10% each year. This should be an area of open discussion at each <br />renewal. <br />We would invoice a flat fee of $100/hour for 24 hours/week ($2400/week), totaling <br />$124,800/year. <br />MATERIALS/SERVICES EXCLUDED FROM PROPOSAL <br />The proposal will include all veterinary services required to properly maintain the zoo <br />collection. The fee schedule outlined will cover all services with the exception of: <br />1. Fees associated with veterinary specialist services (i.e. MRI, specialty <br />ultrasound/diagnostics, specialty dental surgery, specialty surgeon) <br />2. Outside laboratory services <br />3. Outside pharmaceutical services/products (compounding, non -vendor approved <br />companies) <br />
