Assess how the jurisdiction's use of funds, particularly CDBG, addresses the priorities and specific <br />objectives identified in the plan, giving special attention to the highest priority activities <br />identified. <br />The City used HUD funding to meet the high priority needs identified in the Consolidated Plan. The following <br />lists specific accomplishments for the Program Year 2016-2017 that demonstrate the use of funds to meet <br />our community's priority needs: <br />Affordable Housing Opportunities <br />• Construction of the 70 -unit Andaluca affordable rental housing project of which 2 units are HOME - <br />assisted units <br />• Rehabbed three single family units with CDBG funds and four mobile homes with HOME funds <br />Code Enforcement <br />• Inspected 3,206 housing units and issued violations/J r, <br />• Correction of code enforcement violations <br />Homeless Activities <br />• Provided assistance to 1,902 <br />Rehousing or Shelter includir <br />individuals with physical disa <br />diagnosed with HIV/AIDS <br />Capital Improvements <br />:Outreach, Homeless Prevention, Rapid <br />dividuals with developmental disabilities, 450 <br />with mental health problems and 20 people <br />• Patio and walkway impPoQements�at Santa Anita Park <br />• New playground instaIlations�to replace deteriorated playgrounds at Thornton, Centennial, Delhi, <br />Madison, Rosita, and Lillie King parks <br />• Residential Street Improvements in the Washington Square neighborhood <br />• Demolition of deteriorated structures for park development at 6th/Lacy <br />• Delhi Center ADA Improvements <br />Economic Development <br />• Provided technical support and grants to 3 startup microenterprises <br />CAPER <br />OMB Control No: 2506-0117 (exp. 06/30/2018) <br />19D-11 <br />
