Create a City of Santa Ana Homeless Services Manager Position. <br />2. Direct staff to implement the actions described in this report to: <br />a. Improve internal coordination between City Agencies involved in providing services and <br />enforcement related to the homeless population within Santa Ana. <br />b. Enhance coordination with the County of Orange, neighboring cities and Orange <br />County homeless service providers and faith -based organizations. <br />c. Invest in connecting and increasing non-profit and faith -based services available to <br />assist in responding to the City's homeless crisis. <br />d. Develop and implement a specific legislative package to solicit state and federal <br />assistance to respond to the needs for housing, enforcement and social services for <br />the growing homeless population. <br />3. Adopt a Resolution amending the City's Basic Classification and Compensation Plan and <br />Amending the Annual Budget. <br />4. Approve an Appropriation Adjustment to transfer funds from Fund 50 to Fund 11 to support <br />the Homeless Services Manager Position for seven months in FY 2017/18. <br />55C-1 <br />
