The City Engineer has <br />received Final Map No. 2015-187 (City Parcel Map No. 2016-03) for 2000 West Alton Avenue (Exhibit 1) <br />from the Christ Our Savior Catholic Parish, a California Unincorporated Nonprofit Association, and is in <br />the process of reviewing the map for technical accuracy and final approval. <br />This map approves subdividing land into two individual parcels to facilitate the future development of the <br />two parcels. The parcel to the north, identified as Parcel 1, will be the permanent home of the Christ Our <br />Savior Catholic Parish. Parcel 2, is intended to be developed with 42 single-family residences. No <br />development is proposed as part of this parcel map approval. The property is located in the Specific <br />Development No. 4 (SD -4) zoning district and has a General Plan land use designation of Low Density <br />Residential (LR). Existing zoning district is Specific Development No. 4 (SD -4). Tentative Map No. 2015- <br />187 was approved by the City Council on November 15, 2016. Pursuant to Section 34-183 of the Santa <br />Ana Municipal Code, the City Engineer shall approve or disapprove this map within 10 days after the City <br />Council meeting of October 3, 2017. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN ALIGNMENT <br />Approval of this item supports the City's efforts to meet Goal #3 - Economic Development, Objective #2 <br />(create new opportunities for business/job growth and encourage private development through new <br />General Plan and Zoning Ordinance policies). <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />There is no fiscal impact associated with this action. <br />r Mousavipour <br />Executive Director <br />Public Works Agency <br />Exhibit 1: Map <br />17A-1 <br />
