Other Key Dates (see below for additional information) The chart below outlines suggested/estimated deadlines for completing the six steps required for a successful application submission prior to the deadline. These dates are only recommendations as applicants are responsible for planning far enough in advance to complete their application. The requirements outlined in the chart below are outside of DHS/FEMA's purview. Therefore, DHS/FEMA does not guarantee the timeframes for completing those processes. Failure of an applicant to comply with any of the required steps before the deadline for submitting their application may disqualify their application from funding.
