HPPA No. 2017=18 <br />September 28; 2017 <br />Page 2 <br />• Long term preservation of the property and visual improvement to the neighborhood <br />• Allows fora mechanism to provide for property rehabilitation. <br />• ,Provides additional incentive for potential buyers to purchase historic structures <br />• Discourages -inappropriate alterations to the property <br />The property has no identified unauthorized modifications and is preserved .in;its-original,condition. <br />Upon consideration of the application, it is recommended that the City enter into•a Historic Property <br />Preservation Agreement. <br />Public Notification <br />The subject site is located within the Santa Ana Triangle Neighborhood Association boundaries. <br />The president of this neighborhood association was notified by mail 10 days prior to this public <br />hearing. In addition, the project site was posted with a;notice advertising this.public hearing, a <br />notice was published in the Orange County' Reporter and mailed notices were sent to all property, <br />owners within 500 feet of the project site. At the time of this printing, no correspondence, either <br />written or electronic, had, been received from any members of the public: <br />CEGA Compliance <br />In accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act, the recommended action is exempt <br />from further review under Section 1533,1, Class 31,.as this action is des'igned:to preserve a historic <br />resource.
