46. BOND: <br />The CONTRACTOR shall, prior to the initial date of the term of this Agreement, execute <br />and file with the City Clerk a surety bond in the penal sum of Two Million Dollars <br />($2,000,000,00) conditioned upon the faithful performance of this Agreement by the <br />CONTRACTOR and its subcontractors, if any. Said bond may be written for a term of one year, <br />and may thereafter be renewed by certificate, provided however, that the CONTRACTOR agrees <br />to maintain such bond or bonds in force for the complete term of this Agreement. <br />47. MEDIA RELATIONS: <br />The CONTRACTOR shall notify the CITY by email or facsimile of all requests for news <br />media interviews related to the CITY'S Solid Waste collection program within twenty-four (24) <br />hours. Before responding to any inquiries involving controversial issues, CONTRACTOR will <br />discuss the proposed response with the CITY. Copies of draft news releases or proposed trade <br />journal articles shall be submitted to CITY for prior review and approval at least two (2) working <br />days in advance of release. Copies of articles resulting from media interviews or news releases <br />shall be provided to the CITY within five (5) days after publication. <br />48.
