CITY OF SANTA ANA DRAFT SCOPE OF WORK <br />City of Santa Ana <br />Draft Scope of Requested Services <br />The Scope includes services separated by service sector (i.e., Residential Curbside, Multi -Family, <br />Commercial, Roll -Off and CITY facilities) as well as a description of customer rate arrangements, public <br />education, customer service, billing, implementation plan, potential collection impacts, and other <br />proposed services. <br />1. RESPONSIBILITIES OF CONTRACTOR <br />The CONTRACTOR or its Subcontractor(s) will be responsible for the following: <br />A. Collecting Solid Waste, Recyclable Materials, Organic Materials and Roll -Off generated by <br />and placed for Collection by Customers of CONTRACTOR's services. <br />B. Transporting Collected materials to the appropriate Approved Facilities; <br />C. Performing all other services required by this Agreement including, but not limited to, <br />Commercial, Multi -Family and Roll -Off Customer billing, public education, Customer service, <br />record keeping, and reporting; <br />D. Furnishing all labor, supervision, vehicles, Containers, other equipment, materials, supplies, <br />and all other items and services necessary to perform its obligations under this Agreement; <br />E. Paying all expenses related to provision of services required by this Agreement including, but <br />not limited to, taxes, licenses, regulatory fees (including fees and surcharges as applicable), and <br />utilities; and paying all expenses related to the operation, permitting, licensing, regulatory fees <br />for all Approved Facilities owned/operated by CONTRACTOR or CONTRACTOR's Affiliate; <br />F. Performing or providing all services necessary to fulfill its obligations in full accordance with <br />this Agreement at all times using best industry practice for comparable operations; and, <br />G. Complying with all Applicable Laws. <br />2. RESIDENTIAL CURBSIDE SERVICE <br />Residential Curbside Service is for any Dwelling Unit or duplex unit in the Service Area where each <br />Dwelling Unit is designed or used for occupancy by one (1) family and Carts are utilized for the <br />accumulation and set out of Solid Waste. <br />2.1 CORE SERVICES FOR RESIDENTIAL CURBSIDE SERVICE <br />The default service level will be weekly, automated Collection of three (3) 96 -gallon Carts for <br />each curb -serviced household. Body of Cart will be green; lid color will be established for each <br />material (i.e. brown for Refuse, grey for Recyclables and green for Yard Waste) <br />A. Weekly Solid Waste Collection <br />CONTRACTOR will provide each Residential Curbside Service Unit with a new, wheeled Cart <br />for automated collection of Solid Waste. The default service level will be a 96 -gallon Cart <br />Exhibit 3 <br />25F-65 <br />
