Include design, materials, condition, alterations, size, setting, and boundaries.) The Dr. Paterson House is a single -story Spanish Colonial Revival styled residence. The V' shaped structure is clad in smooth stucco and capped by clay barrel tile. Two stucco clad chimneys rise above the rooftop on the eastern and northern part of the residence. The garage is front facing, which is unusual for a home built In the 1920's, and possesses two wood tilt -up garage doors. The garage was extended forward (south) by five feet in 2016 to allow for a standard sized car. The garage now has a hip gable above it, but the elevation is in the same configuration as the original. A covered front porch runs the length of the front elevation other than the garage. This front porch has wooden, stucco covered porch supports without capitals. Windows are wood casement with multiple lights. The front entry includes a heavy wooden door with a peek-a-boo window in its upper half. A low wall with stucco covered pilasters and wrought iron vertical elements forms a front courtyard that is typical of the Spanish Colonial Revival style.
