The City's Cinco de Mayo Event will not <br /> be produced due to staff shortage. Working with private event producers to <br /> take lead. Will be issuing and RFP for Fiesta 2018. City will coordinate the <br /> parade but others will manage the event. <br /> o Councilman Benavides asked if we are doing and RFP for Cinco de Mayo? <br /> • Gerardo Mouet indicated we can do other alternatives and include <br /> Cinco de Mayo. City will still continue to produce the other events. <br /> 5. DISCUSS CITY/SAUSD JOINT POLICY AGENDA <br /> o Staff indicated no date has been set. Still waiting to confirm a date for the <br /> meeting. <br /> o Councilmember Solorio indicated if we can include the following items on <br /> the agenda: <br /> • Opportunity for WIFI. <br /> • Internship Program <br /> • Madison Park Enhanced Joint Use <br /> • Madison Park Community Garden <br /> o Councilman Benavides indicated it would be helpful if we get together to <br /> discuss the agenda items.
