Oct 2151. Run will begin at 8:00am. Plaza Navidena will be held on Nov 18`x' at 5:00pm with Holiday celebration and tree lighting ceremony. Agency needs to focus on core services for youth, seniors and sports/recreation park programming. The City's Cinco de Mayo Event will not be produced due to staff shortage. Working with private event producers to take lead. Will be issuing and RFP for Fiesta 2018. City will coordinate the parade but others will manage the event. Councilman Benavides asked if we are doing and RFP for Cinco de Mayo? • Gerardo Mouet indicated we can do other alternatives and include Cinco de Mayo. City will still continue to produce the other events. 5. DISCUSS CITY/SAUSD JOINT POLICY AGENDA o Staff indicated no date has been set. Still waiting to confirm a date for the meeting. o Councilmember Solorio indicated if we can include the following items on the agenda: • Opportunity for WIFI. • Internship Program • Madison Park Enhanced Joint Use • Madison Park Community Garden o Councilman Benavides indicated it would be helpful if we get together to discuss the agenda items. E-mail the Joint Use minutes to the committee. Would like to see the following on the agenda: • Joint Use (WinlWin) Partnership Lathrop Joint Use Update • Partnership to support youth city wide. 6.
