Resolution — FY 2018/19 Measure M2 CTFP Grant Applications <br />November 21, 2017 <br />Page 2 <br />Garden Grove Blvd/ Memory Lane <br />Design &Construction <br />$20,000 <br />18/19 <br />Corridor Traffic Signal Synchronization** <br />*In cooperation with City of Irvine ** In cooperation with City of Garden Grove <br />Staff carefully considered the grant funding criteria and strategically selected projects that will <br />score high enough, region -wide, to be considered for funding. Given the need for these street <br />improvements and the project eligibility requirements defined by OCTA, staff recommends that <br />the City Council adopt a resolution authorizing submittal of these project applications for funding <br />consideration and direct staff to incorporate the projects into the Seven -Year CIP. Staff <br />anticipates a response to the grant applications in March 2018 and confirmation of any grant <br />funds via OCTA Board action in May 2018. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN ALIGNMENT <br />Approval of this item supports the City's efforts to meet Goal #6 — Community Facilities & <br />Infrastructure, Objective #1 (establish and maintain a Community Investment Plan for all City <br />assets), Strategy G (develop and implement the City's Capital Improvement Program in <br />coordination with the Community Investment and Deferred Maintenance Plans). <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br />There is no environmental impact associated with this action. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />There is no fiscal impact associated with this action. <br />Fred Mousavipour <br />Executive Director <br />Public Works Agency <br />FM/EWG/KN <br />Exhibit: 1.
