call or wish to see the Union Chapter Chair/President during his or her work <br />time shall be referred to the Union's offsite headquarters. <br />5. Time spent by the Union Chapter Chair/President on Chapter <br />Chair/President's Leave time shall not be considered time worked for the <br />computation of overtime according to the Fair Labor Standards Act. <br />6. The Union shall reimburse the City for 100% of the salary, including any <br />premium payments and benefit costs for the Chapter Chair/President's leave <br />time. <br />The Union agrees to pay for Union Leave and Chapter Chair/President's <br />Leave within thirty (30) days of receiving the bill from the City. The bill <br />will be sent on a monthly basis. If the bill is not paid within thirty (30) days, <br />the City shall deduct such amount from the Union dues collected from the <br />employees on behalf of the Union. In the event a portion of the bill is <br />rightfully contested, the City shall only deduct the non -contested portion <br />from employee's dues. Any issues related to the bill must be brought to the <br />attention of the Executive Director of Personnel Services within fifteen (15) <br />days of its receipt and must be resolved within fifteen (15) remaining days <br />so that the bills are paid in a timely manner as stated (within thirty (30) days <br />of its receipt). <br />8. The Union shall provide an insurance policy or policies, or certificate of <br />such insurance, naming the City of Santa Ana, its officers and employees as <br />insured or additional insured which provides coverage against liability for <br />any and all claims and/or suits for damages or injuries to persons or property <br />resulting from or arising out of any act or omission of said Union <br />representative. Said policy or policies of insurance shall provide coverage <br />for both bodily injury and property damage not less than the following <br />minimum amounts: one million dollars ($1,000,000) combined single limit <br />or its equivalent. Said policy or policies shall also contain a provision that <br />no termination, cancellation or change of coverage of insured or additional <br />insured shall be effective until after thirty (30) days' notice has been given <br />in writing to the City of Santa Ana. <br />9. The Union shall provide the City of Santa Ana with an insurance carrier <br />certifying that it carries primary workers' compensation insurance on behalf <br />of said Union representative and the policy shall not be canceled nor <br />coverage reduced until after ten (10) working days' notice has been given <br />in writing to the City of Santa Ana. <br />10. The Union shall indemnify and save harmless the City of Santa Ana, its <br />officers and employees from and against any and all damage to property or <br />injuries to or death of any person or persons, including property and <br />employees or agents to the City of Santa Ana.
