Mayor Pulido in support of continuing matter. <br />Clerk of the Council Huizar, requested clarification if whole item will be <br />continued to next meeting or just consideration of summer schedule. <br />Councilmember Solorio, expressed support of going dark for a whole <br />month if a meeting was selected from the month of July and August in <br />order to consider budgets and ordinances that may arise. <br />Councilmember Benavides, noted January 2, 2018 and November <br />election days are dates City Council meetings will be dark and opined staff <br />should be directed to post notice of those dates and remaining dates be <br />considered at the next City Council meeting. <br />MOTION: <br />1. Review calendar of regularly scheduled City Council Meetings in <br />2018. <br />2. Cancel the regularly scheduled City Council meeting of January 2, <br />2018 and November 6, 2018. <br />3. Approve the 2018 calendar of regularly scheduled City Council <br />meetings. <br />4. Direct staff to post Notice of Cancellation(s). The City Council <br />hereby waives notice of said meetings as required by the <br />government code. <br />5.
