PUBLIC HEARING: ISSUANCE OF TAX EXEMPT BONDS FOR THE <br />BENEFIT OF MATER DEI HIGH SCHOOL AND RESOLUTION <br />APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF BONDS (STRATEGIC PLAN NO. 2,4) <br />- Community Development Agency <br />Legal Notice published in the Orange County Register on November 6, <br />2017. <br />Mayor Pulido opened the Hearing. There were no speakers and the <br />Hearing closed. <br />Councilmember Tinajero, asked if Mater Dei High School's bonds affected <br />the City of Santa Ana. <br />Mayor Pro Tem Martinez, requested confirmation Mater Dei High School <br />is in escrow and no eminent domain issues. <br />Staff indicated that there were no implications to the City. <br />MOTION: <br />1. Conduct a Tax Equity and Fiscal Responsibility Act (TEFRA) <br />Hearing in consideration of the issuance of tax exempt bond <br />financing by the California Municipal Finance Authority ("CMFA") <br />on behalf of the Roman Catholic Bishop of Orange (the <br />"Borrower"), for the benefit of Mater Dei High School (the <br />"School") for the purpose of financing the design, construction <br />and improvement of certain parking facilities. <br />2.
