<br />PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES A-4 DECEMBER 11, 2017 <br /> (Applicant: Brian Anderson – 1824 and 1826 East Carnegie Avenue) <br /> <br />Legal notice published in the Orange County Reporter on November 17, 2017 and notices <br />mailed on November 16, 2017. <br /> <br />Assistant Planner Orozco provided a presentation which included a site description, site <br />plan and photo, floor plans, renderings of project and project analysis. The applicant spoke <br />in support of the project. Chairman McLoughlin opened the public hearing. There were no <br />speakers and the public hearing was closed. <br /> <br />MOTION: Adopt Resolution No. 2017-40 approving modification to Conditional <br />Use Permit No. 2014-19 as conditioned. <br /> <br />MOTION: Verino SECOND: Contreras Leo <br />VOTE: AYES: Contreras-Leo, McLoughlin, Mendoza, Nguyen, Verino (5) <br /> NOES: None (0) <br /> ABSTAINED: None (0) <br /> ABSENT: Alderete, Bacerra (2) <br /> <br /> <br />WORK STUDY CALENDAR ITEMS <br /> <br />4. THE MADISON MIXED-USE DEVELOPMENT LOCATED AT 200 NORTH CABRILLO <br />PARK DRIVE <br /> <br /> Senior Planner Arabe provided a presentation which included an overview of the project, <br />the proposed site layout and noted issues and concerns relating to parking, side yard <br />setback, circulation and traffic. Representatives of Cabrillo Community Partners provided <br />a presentation which included information on project materials, amenities and design <br />concept; findings from a traffic analysis were also reviewed. Commission inquired about <br />areas that were analyzed and expressed concern with traffic congestion. <br /> <br /> <br />COMMENTS <br /> <br />5.
