Appendix <br />ATTACHMENT 1: SCOPE OF WORK <br />Introduction and Background: <br />The City of Santa Ana is seeking responses to this RFP from qualified vendors to provide Geographic <br />Information System (GIS) Data and Services as described below in three separate Proposal Options. <br />Vendors may choose to propose on as many of the Proposal Options as their firm is capable of <br />delivering. The City will evaluate each Proposal Option separately and choose the vendor or vendors <br />that provide the most quality and value to the City. <br />Example: <br />Vendor X chooses to submit a response for Proposal Option 1. <br />Vendor Y chooses to submit a response for Proposal Options 1 and 2. <br />• The City evaluates the submitted proposals. The City may choose to select: <br />o Vendor X for Proposal Option 1. <br />o Vendor Y for Proposal Option 2. <br />Each vendor must submit a fee proposal for each Proposal Option separately. If a vendor does not <br />submit separate sealed fee proposal for each Proposal Option, the proposal maybe considered non- <br />responsive and it may not be accepted. <br />Each vendor maysubmit a combined fee proposal for all submitted Proposal Options if they <br />believe a cost savings can be achieved by providing all of the services for all submitted Proposal <br />Options. <br />Example: <br />Vendor Z chooses to submit a response for Proposal Options 1 and 2. <br />o Vendor Z must submit: <br />• A sealed fee proposal for Option 1. <br />• A sealed fee proposal for Option 2. <br />o Vendor Z may submit: <br />A sealed fee proposal for Option 1, and 2 with one combined cost. <br />The City also desires to enter into a contract with the selected vendor(s) for an initial term of three (3) <br />years with the option for one, two-year extension.
