The time at Which an employee shall take his or her vacation shall <br />be determined by'senionhy within rank, with due regard for the needs of the <br />service. <br />4. For purposes of computing vacation accruals, an eight (8) hour day shall be <br />the basis for computation. <br />10.2 Leave Cash Options. Please refer to Section 9.6 for details. <br />10.3 Management Vacation Benefit. All employees covered by this MOU will be granted one <br />hundred (100) hours of management vacation per calendar year over the vacation schedules. <br />Employees may accrue a maximum of 480 hours of such Management vacation. <br />10.4 Effect of Extended Sick Leave on Vacation Accrual. An employee that is absent on paid sick <br />leave or unpaid leave fora period of time greater than fiftcen,(15) consecutive calendar days <br />in any one (1) calendar month shall not accrue vacation credits during that month. <br />24 <br />251-26 <br />
