A. The City amended the contract with ICMA -RC to allow SEIU members to <br />participate in the "Vantage Care" Retirement Health Savings PIan effective January <br />1, 2016. The City and Union agree to the following elements: <br />1. 1.25% of base pay will be deposited into employees' individual RHS <br />accounts each pay period. Effective upon adoption of this MOU an <br />additional Z% of base pay, for a total of 1.50/6, wiIl be deposited into <br />employee's individual RHS accounts each pay period. <br />2. Upon an employee's termination of employment with the City, their <br />eligible sick leave balances will be directed into the individual's RHS <br />account and the Employer VantageCare Retirement Health Savings <br />("RHS") Plan Adoption Agreement based on the plan guidelines as <br />determined by SEIU) to provide the employee and his or her designated <br />eligible dependents, if any, with benefits under any health insurance <br />program including, but not limited to, the program maintained by the City. <br />3. Upon retirement, the balance of an employee's sick Ieave accrual after <br />eligible RHS payments are made, will be converted into Ca1PERS Service <br />Credit. <br />34 <br />25K-38 <br />
