$xhiliit 1 Imf 11/27/17 RESOLUTION NO. 2017 -XXX A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA ADOPTING AND APPROVING FOR SUBMISSION THE FY 2016/17 MEASURE M2 EXPENDITURE REPORT FOR THE CITY OF SANTA ANA BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby finds, determines and declares as follows: A. Orange County Local Transportation Authority Ordinance No. 3 requires local jurisdictions receiving Net Revenues as defined therein to adopt an annual Measure M2 Expenditure Report to account for Net Revenues, developer/traffic impact fees, and funds expended by local jurisdictions which satisfy the Measure M2 Maintenance of Effort requirements. B. The Measure M2 Expenditure Report shall include all Net Revenue fund balances and interest earned, and identify expenditures by type (e.g., capital,. operations, administration) and program or project. C. The Measure M2 Expenditure Report must be adopted and submitted to the Orange County Transportation Authority each year within six months of the end of the City's fiscal year for the City to be eligible to receive Net Revenues as part of Measure M2. Section 2. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby finds that the FY 2016/17 Measure M2 Expenditure Report, attached hereto as Exhibit A, conforms with the Measure M2 Expenditure Report Template provided in the Renewed Measure M Eligibility Guidelines and accounts for Net Revenues, including interest earned, expenditures during the fiscal year, and balances at the end of fiscal year. Section 3. The City Council adopts the FY 2016/17 Measure M2 Expenditure Report, and directs the Executive Director of the Public Works Agency, or his designee, to submit the Expenditure Report to the Orange County Transportation Authority.
