The SD document has been drafted to be consistent with the project and prohibits future <br />modifications to enlarge or reduce the size of the project The zone change needs to be approved <br />in conjunction with the proposed General Plan Amendment in order for the project to be <br />consistent with the General Plan. <br />Table 3: CEQA. The MND evaluated potential impacts to all required <br />environmental factors on the initial study checklist and found that only one <br />potentially significant impact could be generated by the project relating to traffic. <br />As a result, a mitigation measure is required to paint certain portions of the curb <br />face red that are adjacent to and near the project's frontage, to improve visibility <br />for motorists turning near the project site. <br />Public Notification <br />A notice of intent and draft MND was circulated to interested parties on November <br />15, 2017 and published in the Orange County Register on November 21, 2017. <br />The draft MND was available for public review at the Santa Ana City Hall, City of <br />Santa Ana Main Libra , and on the project web a e on the City's website. <br />Strategic Plan Alig nmerif. <br />Goal(s), Policy or <br />Approval of this item supports the City's efforts to meet Goal #3 — Economic <br />Policies <br />Development, Objective #2 (create new opportunities for businessljob growth and <br />encourage private development through new General Plan and Zoning policies) <br />and Goal #5 — Community Health, Livability, Engagement & Sustainability, <br />Objective #3 (facilitate diverse housing opportunities and support efforts to <br />reserve and improve the livability of Santa Ana neighborhoods). <br />Public flotificatlon & Communi ;Outreach. <br />Required Measures <br />Community Meeting was held on February 9, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at KidWorks <br />located at 1902 West Chestnut Avenue in accordance with the provisions of the <br />City's Sunshine Ordinance. Approximately 60 members of the public and two <br />Planning Division staff attended.
