The City also approved an increase in the amount paid <br />for by the City for employee health plans. <br />c. On December 5, 2017, The City Council approved a Memorandum of <br />Understanding with the Service Employees International Union, which <br />provided for a 2.25% salary increase on September 1, 2017, along with <br />those employees who classifications are under the market average <br />after the 2.25% above increase shall receive up to a maximum 3% of <br />base salary. The City Council also approved a Memorandum of <br />Understanding Side Letter agreement with Police Officer's Association <br />which provided non -sworn SAPOA members a 2.0% salary increase <br />effective on January 1, 2018. <br />F. It is the City's desire that unrepresented Executive Management (EM) <br />classifications shall continue to be subject to the same adjustments in <br />wages and benefits as are provided for represented Full -Time Employees <br />of the City of Santa Ana. It is the City's desire to: <br />a. Adjust the base salaries assigned to unrepresented Executive <br />Management classifications by the similar percentage, on the same <br />dates and in the same manner as provided represented Santa Ana <br />Management Association (SAMA), Police Management Association <br />(PMA), Service Employees International Union, Local 721 (SEIU), <br />Police Officers Association (POA) and Confidential Association of <br />Santa Ana (CASA). Selected executive management classifications <br />requested for base salary increases as shown below: <br />January 1, 2018: 2.0% <br />b. This base salary adjustment will also apply to any other employees <br />within the City with an Executive Management "me too" provision in <br />their employment contract, specifically, the City Clerk. <br />c.
