1C AND 1G} — Public Works Agency and Parks, Recreation and <br />Community Services Agency <br />MOTION: <br />1. Reject all bids received on October 10, 2017, for construction of <br />the Sandpointe Paseo Security Lighting project due to changes in <br />the scope of work. <br />2. Authorize the City Manager and the Clerk of the Council to award <br />and execute a construction contract to California Professional <br />Engineering, Inc., the lowest responsible bidder, in accordance <br />with the base bid in the amount of $176,425, for the term <br />beginning upon execution of the contract and ending upon <br />project completion, for construction of the Sandpointe Paseo <br />Security Lighting project, subject to nonsubstantive changes <br />approved by the City Manager and the City Attorney. <br />3. Approve an appropriation adjustment. (Requires five affirmative <br />votes) <br />APPROPRIATION ADJUSTMENT NO. 2018-054 Approve an <br />appropriation adjustment recognizing $30,000 from prior year fund <br />balance revenue in the District 3 A&D fund revenue account and <br />appropriating the same into the District 3 A&D fund expenditure <br />account. <br />4. Approve the Project Cost Analysis for a total estimated project <br />delivery cost of $238,174, which includes the contract base bid, <br />administration, inspection, testing, and a $35,285 contingency. <br />20C. PURCHASE AGREEMENT FOR REAL PROPERTY ACQUISITION FOR <br />BRISTOL STREET IMPROVEMENTS PHASE 4: 1301 WESTCAMDEN <br />PLACE (PROJECT NO. 116741, NON -GENERAL FUND): {STRATEGIC <br />PLAN NOS. 6, 1 G; 3, 2C} - Public Works Agency <br />MOTION: <br />1. Authorize the City Manager and Clerk of the Council to execute a <br />Purchase Agreement for the real property acquisition, temporary <br />construction easements, and goodwill (if any) for the property <br />located at 1301 W. Camden Place (APN 408-334-18) with , the <br />property owner Pedro Castrejon and Natividad Castrejon, for full <br />acquisition in an amount of $540,000, subject to non -substantive <br />changes approved by the City Manager and City Attorney.
