AUTHORIZATION TO ISSUE REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL FOR <br />RECORDKEEPING AND INVESTMENT ADVISORY SERVICES FOR <br />THE 457 DEFERRED COMPENSATION PLAN AND ADOPT <br />AMENDMENTS TO CURRENT AGREEMENTS {STRATEGIC PLAN NO. <br />7, 4) - Finance and Management Services <br />MOTION: <br />1. Authorize staff to issue two Requests for Proposals: 1) for <br />Recordkeeping and Communication Services and 2) for <br />Investment Advisory Services pertaining to the 457 Deferred <br />Compensation Plan. <br />2. Authorize the City Manager and Clerk of the Council to execute <br />an extension with Great -West Financial to maintain services <br />during the Requests for Proposals for recordkeeping and <br />communication services pertaining to the 457 deferred <br />compensation plan for a nine-month period beginning January 1, <br />2018 through September 30, 2018, subject to non -substantive <br />changes approved by the City Manager and City Attorney. <br />(AGMT. Authorize the City Manager and Clerk of the Council to execute <br />an amendment with Benefit Financial Services Group (BFSG), for <br />plan and investment advisory services pertaining to the 457 <br />deferred compensation plan for a one-year period beginning <br />January 1, 2018 through December 31, 2018 for an amount not to <br />exceed $20,000, subject to non -substantive changes approved by <br />the City Manager and City Attorney. No. 2017-349) <br />25E APPROVE AN AGREEMENT FOR FOUNTAIN MAINTENANCE <br />SERVICES AT VARIOUS CITY FACILITIES {STRATEGIC PLAN NO. 6, <br />1B) Parks, Recreation and Community Services Agency; and Public <br />Works Agency <br />MOTION: Authorize the City Manager and Clerk of the Council to <br />execute an agreement with Service First Contractors dba Service 18t, <br />in an annual amount not to exceed $96,340, which includes a 20% <br />contingency, for a term from January 1, 2018 through December 31, <br />2019, with two, one-year renewal options for a total amount not to <br />exceed $385,360, subject to non -substantive changes approved by <br />the City Manager and City Attorney.
