REQUEST FOR <br />COUNCIL ACTION <br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING DATE: <br />FEBRUARY 6, 2018 <br />TITLE: <br />RECEIVE AND FILE CERTIFICATION AND <br />APPROVAL OF FINAL TRACT MAP NO. 17231 <br />BY CITY ENGINEER <br />(1584 WEST SANTA CLARA AVENUE) <br />(STRATEGIC PLAN NO. 3,21 <br />CITY MA ER <br />RECOMMENDED ACTION <br />Receive and file. <br />DISCUSSION <br />CLERK OF COUNCIL USE ONLY: <br />APPROVED <br />❑ As Recommended <br />❑ As Amended <br />❑ Ordinance on 1s' Reading <br />❑ Ordinance on 2nd Reading <br />❑ Implementing Resolution <br />❑ Set Public Hearing For <br />CONTINUED TO <br />FILE NUMBER <br />This action informs the City Council of the imminent approval of this subdivision based upon the <br />Subdivision Map Act, and meeting of all the conditions of approval set by the City. The City <br />Engineer has received Final Tract Map No. 17231 (City Tract Map No. 2012-02) for 1584 East <br />Santa Clara Avenue (Exhibit 1) from Civic Santa Ana, LLC, a California limited liability company, <br />and is in the process of reviewing the map for technical accuracy and final approval. <br />This map approves subdividing land for a 23 -unit single-family development with new public streets <br />at a site known as Sexlinger Farmhouse and Orchard. The General Plan land use designation for <br />the site is Low Density Residential (LR -7) which allows single-family development. The Tentative <br />Map No. 17231 was approved by the City Council on March 4, 2014. Pursuant to Section 34-183 <br />of the Santa Ana Municipal Code, the City Engineer shall approve or disapprove this map within <br />10 days after the City Council meeting of February 6, 2018. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN ALIGNMENT <br />This item supports the City's efforts to meet Goal #3 - Economic Development, Objective #2 (create <br />new opportunities for business/job growth and encourage private development through new <br />General Plan and Zoning Ordinance policies). <br />17A-1 <br />
