Numerous economoc
studies have verified these results. The titles and sources of these studies can be provided.
The answer to problems of increasing rents is the construction of new rental housing that will stabilize or
lower rents and will improve the status of rental units in your city. Rent control will substantially
discourage this solution for investors. You are encouraged to avoid the downward spiral caused by rental
control for your city.
I am Jay Kremer, an owner of rental units in Orange Co. and a member of the Apartment Assoc. of
Orange Co.
Jay Kremer
