City of Santa Ana RFP 17-072 1 Statement of Qualifications (Revised 11/9/17) <br />1 COVER LETTER <br />November 9, 2017 <br />City of Santa Ana <br />Attention: Margaret Mercer, Administrative Services Manager <br />Public Works Agency <br />20 Civic Center Plaza, 41' Floor, Ross Annex <br />Santa Ana, CA 92701 <br />Thank you for the opportunity to re -bid on RFP #17-072, Business Processes Assessment and <br />Implementation Plan for the City of Santa Ana Public Works Agency (the "Agency"), <br />We have revised our proposal based on the direction provided in your clarification email along with what <br />we heard in the interview. In line with your request, we have primarily modified the following sections: <br />Section 3: Understanding of Your Needs — We have revised our Scope of Work (Section 3.1.3) and <br />our Approach & Tasks (Section 3.2) to address your request for an end-to-end service supporting <br />software selection and deployment, as well as the implementation of new procedures, in two project <br />phases. Additionally, we Incorporated and accounted for a scope that Is slightly broader than originally <br />Identified and Includes all decentralized administrative (clerical) support functions. <br />Section 4.2: Proposed Consulting Team -- We have revised our proposed project team to better align <br />with the Agency's needs. The proposed team has been modified to include an optimal mix of business <br />process and software system implementation expertise, Including the addition of a Lawson expert, for <br />supporting the full project scope of the business process assessment, the software selection and <br />deployment, and the implementation of new procedures. Additionally, we have added Section 4.2.3 <br />highlighting our approach and experience related to the software selection process. <br />Section 6: Schedule — We have updated our schedule to reflect our revised Approach & Tasks (Section <br />3.2) for supporting an end-to-end software deployment and implementation of new business processes. <br />We have provided a detailed timeline for project phases 1 & 2 along with the associated sub -phases. <br />In compliance with the original RFP request, we have included our revised'Fee Proposal' in a separately <br />sealed envelope. <br />Chazey Partners Inc. is a California-based corporation. We provide practitioner -based expertise in <br />Implementing and operating mission -critical business support services and technology solutions. We <br />have multiple years of experience leading and supporting similar business process reviews and <br />technology selection projects, in both the public and private sectors. <br />We confirm that our primary source of revenue does not come from sales and support of software <br />systems, including any that would be recommended as part of this project. <br />We acknowledge that we have thoroughly examined and accept the Terms and Condition of the RFP as <br />described therein. <br />We are a California small business. For reference, please note that we recently underwent a Fair Work <br />Fair Wage audit completed for the University of California system and are in compliance with Equal Pay <br />laws. <br />I confirm that as CEO, I am authorized to make legally binding commitments on behalf of Chazey <br />Partners, and this authority covers both this Statement of Qualifications and the Fee Proposal. We <br />assume responsibility for all services in our proposal.
