EXHIBIT A <br />Scope of Work <br />Bear Street Signal Synchronization <br />INTRODUCTION <br />The City of Costa Mesa ("CITY") will lead the Bear Street PROJECT to optimize signal <br />synchronization timing along the Bear Street Corridor between Segerstrom Avenue and Bristol <br />Street. Below is the list of intersections: <br />1. Bear Street @ Segerstrom Avenue (SA)l <br />2. Bear Street @ Alton Avenue (SA) <br />3, Bear Street @ MacArthur Boulevard (SA) <br />4, Bear Street @ Sunflower Avenue (CM)2 <br />5. Bear Street @ South Coast Plaza North (CM) <br />B. Bear Street @ South Coast Drive (CM) <br />7. Bear Street @ Metro Point East (CM) <br />B. Bear Street @ Metro Point West (CM) <br />g. Bear Street @ South Coast Plaza/Metro Point (CM) <br />10. Bear Street @ Yukon/Paularino Avenue (CM) <br />11. Bear Street @ SR -73 NB Ramp (Caltrans) <br />12. Bear Street @ SR -73 SB Ramp (Caltrans) <br />13. Bear Street @ Baker Street (CM) <br />14. Bear Street @ Bristol Street (CM) <br />PRIMARY IMPLEMENTATION <br />The following is an outline of the scope of services for Bear Street PROJECT Primary <br />Implementation. <br />1) Project Administration <br />CITY shall provide general project administration, environmental processing, and quality control. <br />The City of Santa Ana ("PARTICIPATING AGENCY") shall provide support project management <br />services for the project intersections located within their jurisdiction and assist In maintaining the <br />Bear Street PROJECT schedule. <br />a) Data Collection <br />The CITY will assemble with the assistance of PARTICIPATING AGENCY the necessary <br />data to understand the existing traffic conditions for the Bear Street PROJECT and Its <br />respective traffic signal operations, This shall include, at minimum, the following: <br />• All data, documents, plans, photos, etc. related to each Bear Street <br />PROJECT intersection within the past two years; <br />• Local agency timing preferences or policies for all modes of travel and special <br />Intersection treatments; and <br />• Manual and Machine Traffic counts for highway links and intersections for <br />weekday and weekend time periods for all modes of travel.
