rj) Nothing in this section shall be construed to supersede or in any way alter or lessen the .effect or application <br />of the .California Coastal Act (Division 20 (commencing with Section 30000) of the Public' Resources Code), <br />except that the local government shall not be required to hold public hearings for coastal development permit <br />applications for accessory dsvelling units. <br />SEC. 2. Section 1..5.of this bill incorporates amendments to Section 65852.2 of the Government Code proposed <br />by both this bill and Senate Bill 1069. It shall only become operative if (1) both bills -are enacted and become <br />efrective oil or before January 1, 2017, (2) each bill amends Section 65852.2 of,the Gove.rnment Code, and (3) <br />this bill is enacted after -Senate Bill 1069, in which case Section 1 of this bill shall not become operative, <br />SEC. 3. No reimbursement Is required by this act pursuant to Section 6 or Article XIIIB of'the California <br />constitution because a local agency or school. district has the authority to levy service charges, fees, or <br />assessments sufficient topayfor the program or level of service mandated by this act, within the. meaning of <br />section. 17556 of the'GovernmentCode. <br />75A-28 <br />
