The housing vision is <br />expressed in the goals, policies, and implementation programs stated in the Housing Element. The <br />purpose of the Housing Element Annual Progress Report (Exhibit 1) is to describe the activities <br />and accomplishments made in 2017, which are consistent with the City's housing vision and <br />associated implementation programs. <br />The following are three major Housing Element program accomplishments in 2017: <br />• A total of 14 meetings were held with the General Plan Advisory Group (GPAG), a group <br />comprised of residents and stakeholders assisting with the creation and development of <br />goals and policies for the Comprehensive General Plan update; <br />• Continued efforts to support developers to secure tax credits and other sources of funding <br />for quality affordable housing projects; and <br />• A variety of local park, bikeway and pedestrian infrastructure improvements to promote <br />livable, "complete" neighborhoods. <br />19C-1 <br />
