HISTORIC RESOURCES COMMISSION APPLICATION NO. 2017-16, HISTORIC <br />REGISTER CATEGORIZATION NO. 2017-15, AND HISTORIC PROPERTY <br />PRESERVATION AGREEMENT NO. 2017-16 <br />(Property: 2045 North Greenleaf Street – Lund House) <br /> <br />Legal notice published in the Orange County Reporter on October 13, 2017 and notices <br />mailed October 13, 2017. <br /> <br />Associate Planner Soto provided a presentation which included the project description, <br />designation and architectural style. Matthew & Lina Lopez, applicants, spoke in support of <br />recommended action. Chairperson Christy opened the public hearing. There were no <br />additional speakers on the matter and the hearing was closed. <br /> <br />Chairperson Christy asked that staff update photo as the tree has been removed and <br />requested that staff have city tree trimmed as it is blocking a portion of the home. <br />Commissioner Hitterdale requested that the home be designated as Key on the basis of <br />Mr. Lund’s work in the community and contribution to the city. Mr. Lund was a physical <br />education teacher and fixture at Willard Jr. High School. Vice Chair Schaefer noted the <br />home was built by Emmit Rogers who built through early 60’s and is worthy of noting as <br />well. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />1. Adopt a resolution approving Historic Resources Commission Application No. <br />2017-16 and approving Historic Register Categorization No. 2017-15 and categorize <br />as Key. <br /> <br />2.
