MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE <br />HISTORIC RESOURCES COMMISSION <br />OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />CALLED TO ORDER <br />ATTENDANCE <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />OCTOBER 6, 2016 <br />CITY COUNCIL CHAMBER <br />22 CIVIC CENTER PLAZA <br />SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA <br />4:33 P.M. <br />COMMISSIONERS Present: <br />ALBERTA CHRISTY, Chairperson <br />PHILLIP SCHAEFER, Vice Chair <br />PHIL BACERRA (4:36 p.m.) <br />MONICA GARCIA <br />LAURENCE HITTERDALE <br />EDWARD MURASHIE <br />MIKE TARDIF <br />COMMISSIONERS Absent: None <br />STAFF Present: <br />VERNY CARVAJAL, Principal Planner <br />LISA STORCK, Assistant City Attorney <br />HALLY SOBOLESKE, Senior Planner <br />ROSA BARELA, Acting Recording Secretary <br />Commissioner Garcia <br />Chairperson Christy announced appointment of new Planning Commission Representative Phil <br />Bacerra and announced the resignation of Sean Coolidge. <br />Commissioner Bacerra arrived at 4:36 p.m. <br />Motion by Vice Chair Schaefer and seconded by Commissioner Garcia to accept <br />the resignation of Sean Coolidge with regret and approved unanimously by a vote <br />of 7:0. <br />A. PUBLIC COMMENTS (on non -agenda items) <br />Andrea Cole noted concern for development of a large triplex next door to her property <br />in a single family neighborhood questioned how it went through Planning adding she is <br />trying to stop development and working with Planning. Inquired on how her <br />neighborhood can become a historic district. Chairperson Christy advised her to speak <br />with Hally Soboleske for assistance. Commissioner Murashie also noted the Floral <br />Park Neighborhood is also interested in becoming a historic district and a workshop has <br />been scheduled. <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />MOTION: Approve Consent Calendar items listed as recommended by staff as <br />follows: <br />HISTORIC RESOURCES COMMISSION MINUTES 1 OCTOBER 6, 2016 <br />C-40
